This weekend, the North Lawndale Eagles battled against the Hyde Park Spartans in a hotly contested battle at Hales Franciscan. The Eagles 8U continued their dominant start by defeating the 8U Spartans convincingly by a score of 24 - 6 to push their record to 3-0. The 10U Eagles had their hands full with the 10U Spartans losing the battle dropping their record to 1-2. 12U Eagles got off to a fast start leading by 19-6, then the Spartans charged back to being down by 1. The game was played hard but things got controversial as a late timeout call was ignored leading to the Spartans to win 24-19. The 12U Eagles now drop to a record of 2-1. Next game vs The Gators on September 29th, 2018 starting at 3:00pm at Garfield Park.
